meg
heres the million dollar question.... When you've had a frustrating tension/thread breakage problem that you've gone thru all the fix-it steps 3 times (some steps 10+Times) ...how do you know which one worked? I'm not the most technical person here, that was established years ago. But short of testing between each step, which I did the first 2 times through the whole process, how do you know? Am I the only one who can't always figure it out. Thank you for listening.
dancing bear
You're not the only one... when this happens I just say "thank you Jesus" and move on..LOL! I'm usually so grateful that my problem is fixed I don't worry about it...and besides, it's all magic anyway, right? Keep on dancing...
RunningThreads
Am I the only one who can't always figure it out. Not at all. I've been left scratching my head on more than one occasion. Nigel
JBQuilts
I know exactly what you mean. I have had very few issues with threads, except for metro which is another whole story; so therefore I haven't used it in years. I recently had a quilt I wanted to use a color thread that was metro. Can I remember(after much frustration and grumbling and broken threads and top thread, metro, showing on the back) what I did before to make it work? Nnnnnoooooo! CindyT
You are not alone, Meg. I just figure whatever works, I'm happy and go on...until it happens the next time.
