Norma H 72
Great article - I know it's been discussed here before, but not this detailed. Thanks Oma.
Battynurse 79
That is good. I've noticed the ghost marks before on my stuff, but not super often.
Primitive1 802
Thanks for the info...I now mostly use air erasable purple markers or just chalk....
Quilting Heidi 1,398
I read this article too and thought it was very good article. When Sharon Schamber came to our guild she said that you can use dry cleaning solvent to remove the ink. I have never used them because I had heard of the nightmares of marks coming back. I had a friend that used it on a quilt for show and the marks did come back a little during shipping.
PamelaA 4
Very good information to know. I have had some experience with the ghost marks. I will be more circumspect when using the pens in the future.
Corey 386
I used it once 5 years ago on my personal quilt. Since then I've decided not to use Frixion because of uncertain results especially for customers quilts.
judyday 167
I have some also. I had decided last year not to use them on my quilts after reading a similar article. Just use them on other sewing projects. Judy
loraquilts 167
Wow, glad I ran across this thread. I love my Frixion pens and have used them quite a bit to mark fabric. In fact, that's all I use them on. I love how the ink just steams off (or so I thought). Now I'm going to have to find another safer method for marking fabric -- quilts and garments. : ( Hey, do you think if we petitioned Pilot they would invent a disappearing ink pen that IS designed to work on fabric?
