sewingpup
Tee Hee....I am really evil.....I don't even pin, glue, or use those binding clips when I machine my binding on....I use my walking foot and pull the binding to the top and just over the stitching line and line it up with the inner side of the foot....works for me...when I tried pinning...I spent a lot of time adjusting the pins and then removed them so I didn't stitch over them and readjusted...so I just started skipping that part...yep...I don't quilt for show....and my quilts do get used and washed...so far so good. Lin (oh...my walkiing foot is one of those that has a more open toe so I can see ....love those walking feet...have one for both the Bernina and My Viking where you can change the walking foot. )
Gator
my hand work sucks! I'm a machine binder, I have to use those fancy stitches on my expensive sewing machine for something!
Quilting Heidi
I always do bindings by hand, yes they take time but I love the final stitching by hand. I like the look of it as well. I'm slower then molasses but it is my TV time.
