Circlelord Swirls board. Which way does it go?

Hello fellow Cirlelord owners,

 

Can someone tell me the correct direction to place the Swirls boards in the attached picture? I bought them used. My gf came over and said it was upside down. She has the newer Swirls and has 2.5 rows. Mine just has two.

It isn't a big deal which side is up as long as you can find a spot to line up the next row.   Spacing of the rows is more important than direction.

That's my favorite board. You can skip the boxes and then go back and quilt something else in the space. I went back and quilt hearts, Angels, stars...with glow-in-the dark thread. Grandkids love looking for the hidden pictures, with the lights off.

Thanks Heidi. I just happen to have glow in the dark thread, I will give it a try, too.

Turn it around and have the fillers at the bottom. Start your quilt with just a little part of the filler used.

This way you will not have an open space at the beginning of the quilt. For the second pass of the board, use the

Registration Hole under the 3rd spiral to align the nest pass. Check both ends for alignment in case you are  rolling up

un eveningly.
