Quilting Regina
When quilting this spool quilt, should I change the top thread to match each "thread color" on each spool on the quilt, or should I use the same color thread that I use to quilt the negative space. If I change the top thread for each "spool," should I change the bobbin thread, also? Just wondering since Superior Threads is having a 15% off sale on their So Fine 50, and I thought this would be a good time to purchase some thread. So far I've just been using the samples that came with Lucey. Oh, and should I use the So Fine 50 in the bobbin, or should I use Bottom Line? Thanks in advance. Gail O
I think you will be happier with the final product if you change the colour to match the spools. I rarely change my bobbin thread colour; run different colours top and bobbin.
lkl
So Fine 50 is one of my favourite top threads, you will be happy using it. Leslie
Enchanted Quilting
I really like a So Fine/Bottom line combo. I get the top and bobbin to match as closely as possible, but many times not exact.
