Berny
Help, please?? (Of course its Sunday and this quilt should have been finished by tonight.) I've turned the S/R on then pressed the green button to start sewing and nothing happens. An odd time it sewed so slowly. (I've tried turning the machine off but it doesn't make any difference.) It just doesn't seem to want to get going. What do I do now?? facing the front of the machine lights 3/5/6 are on the left side and on the right light 2 is on. Any suggestions as to what I should try next would help. Thanks Berny
smorris
Hi Berny Did you set the stitch length? Try this sequence Turn the power on Set the stitch length to 10 hold inthe command button and the green button on the left front handle Hold in the command button and the blue button on the right handle It should work. If not try moving the machine horizontally, then vertically - if it works in one direction and not the other, then your rubber encoder wheel on the direction it does not stitch needs to be moved closer to the larger wheel. Hope that helps. sue in australia
Berny
Thanks Sue, The stitch length was set. When you said that it might be the encoder wheel panic was my first feeling. I didn't even know what it was. I phoned APQS this morning and talked to Amy. Between Amy and my husband they moved the wheel closer and its working. Thank-you so much, Berny
