lindasewsit
Hi again all! Hey, my thread on the back is kind of just "laying" on the back...I can't remember what I need to loosen or tighten? bobbin or top tension? Can someone help this old brain? Heirloom Quilter
Hi Linda, You can try tightening the top tension and if that doesn't work, put the top back to where it was and loosen the bobbin tension. Also, make sure the thread path is correct and laying between the tension discs. I hope this helps.
Sue E.
Linda, this is what I was taught … if your tension looks bad on the back, your top tension needs to be adjusted. If your top tension is bad, your bottom tension needs to be adjusted. This seems to work for me most of the time.
