Last quilt on my Voyager and first on my new Millie

Recommended Posts

I've practiced quilting on thrift store sheets and I've done 11 lap quilts on my Voyager 17. This is the last one I did on her.

This is the first quilt I finished on my new Millie last night. Don't look too close. I don't know why the pictures are turned sideways.

I'm having fun with her. I only quilt for myself doing charity quilts and gifts.

Thank you everyone for your comments.

I'm actually I glad I got the Voyager first as I didn't know if I was going to like long arm quilting. A few times I was ready to throw it out the window, but it was too heavy! I learned a lot from this forum and was able to find the Voyager's sweet spot.

If I would have gotten the Miliie to start with, I think I would have been very frustrated and wondered if I wasted my money. The things I learned on the Voyager translated to the Millie and I was able to put a real quilt on fairly quickly.
