Crazyqltr
I am going to be buying a Lenni and I can't decide what bobbin case to buy the L or M. What does everyone have? This is my first machine everything else out there is M but I was told I would get better stitches with the L. I am just going to be using the machine for myself not business. I would love some feedback and opinions of the advantages and disadvantages of both. Thanks carol
Mary Beth
In my opinion the L bobbin. When I picked up my machine in Iowa at the factory and told them that I want the L they said, 'good choice'. That was good enough for me since they deal with it all the time. lkl
I have the M bobbin and very glad I made that choice. Leslie
qltnbe
I, also, use the L bobbin on my Millie and have heard that using the M bobbin (which is heavier) may cause some tension issues, but then you can adjust for that. If you don't mind changing your bobbin, I think the L is just fine. When you get into the M, the expense for the cases and the bobbins are greater. Quilta93
I asked the same question last year. I went with the m bobbin. I just got my Millie and I think I made the right decision for me. Here are the comments from last year. http://forum.apqs.com/index.php?/topic/38421-l-or-m-bobbin/page-1 Deb. jimerickson
Buy the M system. Half the number of bobbin changes, half the problems associated with bobbin change. Jim
JuneR
At a quilt show in Phoenix I was checking out the APQS machines before I bought and was also adivsed the L bobbin was the way to go.
sewingpup
tee hee...looks like there are "M'ers" and "L'ers" on the Forum...I am wondering if it makes any difference as to what your quilting style is? I have an "L" in my Lucey...no problems other than having to take a break every now and then to replace the bobbin....Lin
Quilta93
I went with the M bobbin. I figured if I didn't like it I could always change to an L hook assembly. Deb.
