Here is the last Custom quilt I did. It was a challenging quilt to do. The quilt is 100"x 100" and the large 4 point star was huge every thing was on angles  and on the diagonal. I  rolled the quilt forward and back a lot. I stared at this quilt for several month not knowing how to design the quilting. I finally divided up the areas and started filling them in. I used two different colors of thread. I am pleased with how it turned out. Thanks for looking.

You should be pleased!  It's beautiful!  I would have been at a loss with such large areas, but you certainly divided and conquered. Thanks for sharing.  You're inspiring!

Thank-you Pat I worried about this quilt for a long time I have not done much divide and conquer as they say,. but I am pleased and have a few more I can practice on.

Gotta admire your creativity on this one.  I'm still learning, and your statement about "just divided up the areas and started filling them in" is very useful to me.  That leap is an important one that still eludes me.
