Marjorie, an 88 year old, pieced this quilt last year.  She wanted me to quilt it with feathers.  Since she didn't use cornerstones, it was hard for her to keep the blocks straight and in line.  So Fine on top and Bottom Line in the bobbin.  Hobb 80/20.

Well, first, 88 and still quilting, bless her heart!! Your quilting made the quilt. I remember Dawn Cavanaugh saying as quilters we make a silk purse from a sows ear. Not that this quilt is a pigs ears, but your quilting made the quilt. No setting corners has to be hard to get around.

You've done a beautiful job in making this quilt georgous and possibly be handed down to family members. Your feathers certainly fill the quilt great! ;)
