I had red snappers for a few years but went back to zippers. I use mostly use red snappers sew onto one set of zippers then the other set of zippers I can use to pin if I need to switch a quilt out for some reason. LisaC Posted July 31, 2017 Report Share Posted July 31, 2017 Terry, here is a pic of my zippers with a Red Snapper extra leader zipped to it. I very much enjoy having both. I keep long term quilts on zippers but can Snap On small quilts I am finishing right away. I purchased duck cloth on sale at JoAnn's to create this second leader.
