BethDurand
How about something rather traditional since this is a rather traditional pattern? Not really an answer, but it's all I've got at the moment. Beth
Mary Beth
LLJ You might want to go to google.com and click on images, then type in Around the World quilts and see what it brings up. Or you could go to webshots.com and do the same. Sometimes that is where I find inspiration. Mary Beth
sjdanley
I've done 2. I used a Starburst on one and Ribbons and Roses on the other. Both are from Willowleaf and both worked well.
Katydids
When I am doing something like that I look at the fabric too for inspiration. For example, if the fabric were red, white, & blue and had stars, I would do some kind of patriotic design. If it were floral fabrics, say roses, I might do "American beauty" which is a rose design. The fabric can tell you alot about where to "take the quilt", not just the type of pattern it is. Just my opinion. Patty
