Nicolle Filiatrault
Having an issue quilting a McKenna Ryan quilt. I've stitched in the ditch and did background filler. It turned out wonky! Bubbled even. With all the layers of applique in some areas, could it need a stabilizer behind the fabric that is just one layer of background? If so should it quilt out fine once the stabilizer is applied behind? Should I quilt dense background filler or not? Any advice will be much appreciated. Kueser
First, I would start with steam and starch to bring those bubbles back in control.
