monakeegan
I have had my Millie almost 5 years now. I wonder if my oiling or lubricating frequency is normal. I have determined that I need to check the wicks for oil and clean and lube the bobbin area every three bobbins used. I use L Type Bobbins, almost exclusively the MagnaGlide Bobbins. Is my schedule normal? My machine provides consistent stitching with this schedule. Thanks for commenting.
jimerickson
Mona: You're probably over lubing the hook. I think once a quilting session is enough. Oiling the wicks seems right. Jim
monakeegan
Jim, Thank you. I also clean out the bobbin area and the tension disks very three bobbins. Seems to keep it happy.
monakeegan
Forgot to add, the other day I went almost 4 bobbins and I got rattle in my bobbin area!
