Patsydee
Millie was purring along when I decided to do some ppp with a ruler. The needle bar hit the side of the ruler and now the stitches are not forming. I checked the needle in the bobbin case and the full eye is not showing. Do I have to start from the beginning of the timing exercise or can I adjust the needle bar. I have done this before so I am not frantic but hope there is an easy way to fix it. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks, Pat
John Mitchell
Timing starts with a correct needle bar position. Set your needle bar position then you can check timing. There is a good chance that resetting the needle bar positon will fix your issue. John
Patsydee
I did a thorough cleaning while I adjusted the needle bar and all is well again. Thank you John for your advice. I have had my machine since January and really need to get some hands on instruction in maintenance and techniques. Did not make it to the big shows this year but am determined to put some travel at the top of my list. This forum has been so helpful. Thanks everyone.
