Catherine P.
I'm looking for cheap but decent batting to use for several twin size quilts I've agreed to quilt for charity. I've found Cloud Lite from one of our longarm sources that without shipping comes to only $3.30 each! Has anyone used Cloud Lite? Any comments on it? slkinney
Catherine, could you post a link to the site for Cloud Lite, I would like to see it, if possible. Sounds like a good deal if it's decent batting. I've not heard of it, but am always willing to try new things. Thanks!
Catherine P.
Hi Sharon, I found it at http://www.longarmconnection.com/Our_Products.html The Quilting Connection in Elkhorn, WI, they're an APQS dealer. I got the zippers for my machine from there, also. I plan to order it today. I'll let you know what I think.
Catherine P.
Hi Sharon, I told you that I would let you know what I thought of the Cloud Lite batting. It's from Hobbs and I like it. I don?t have a problem recommending it and I'll use it as an inexpensive batting for charity quilts. It quilted up nicely and has a nice finished feel. Sometime, I'll have to wash a quilt with it but I don't wash the charity quilts before I turn them in. With shipping it came to about $4.10 (wholesale) per bat for a twin size. The Quilting Connection in Elkhorn, WI has a minimum order of two cases but that?s not really a problem, they had lots of choices of battings.
