Coreydeb
I am new to this forum but not to quilting. I have a new Cutie frame and Sure Stitch regulator, using my Brother VQ3000 DreamWeaver. I have been a FMQ for a few years but this is totally new for me. Everything is all together and working but having a problem with my horizontal stitches, they can be huge. Better stitches traveling vertical. Does the machine speed have anything to do with this problem, sending that message to the Sure Stitch? If so what would one suggest. Just thought of this today. Thank you. jimerickson
Don't really know anything about "Sure Stitch", but your problem sounds like the horizontal encoder (if sure Stitch) has encoders) isn't turning properly. Check for thread wrapped around it, and make sure there is enough tension on it to make firm contact with whatever it rides on. Good luck.
