Old lady needs new shoes… Ultimate 1

Hi everyone,

I have an old Ultimate 1 and live in Scotland. I would Like to use rulers on it but the foot isn’t the right one. Somewhere I have a distant memory of a kit I could use to install one.

Im going to be in the States soon and I want to bring a kit home with me.

Can I get a link to the kit and installation instructions? ( And timing instructions too?) I can’t seem to find it now.

APQS has the kit in their parts store on the main website, I suggest calling or emailing to make sure you get the right one. Since you will be in there anyway you may want to check your needlebar bushings for wear and replace at the same time.  Ask APQS to email the instructions, they are well written and easy to follow.  If you just want the ruler foot only, maybe someone who has upgraded to the interchangeable system would pass on the old ruler foot to you.  Timing instructions can be seen here https://www.apqs.com/timing-apqs-machine-video/  .

That is the same kit I found on the APQS site for the same price.  The needlebar uses the same bushings and they are installed with the same loc-tite.
