smith
I was quilting and suddenly my millenium stops stitching. Even the needle up/down won't respond. All the lights and everything are working. The next day I went to check it out to see if I could see anything, and it starts working just like it should. Shortly after it stops stitching an even the needle up/down doesn't respond. Both times if I put it in regulated mode and moved the machine an alarm sounds. Anyne have any ideas what could be wrong? Where can I get it repaired in Minneapolis/St Paul MN area? PLEASE help.
RunningThreads
Check your brushes. Most things you can fix yourself with instructions supplies by APQS. Here is how to check the brushes. https://www.apqs.com/motor-brush-maintenance-video/ Nigel dbams
smith
I already checked the brushes and used compressed air to clean it. Thanks dbams
RunningThreads
Next time it stops try rotating the flywheel a bit and see if it starts back up again. I had to replace the motor on our millennium because of symptoms like you describe. Call the factory on Monday and they will help you diagnose your problem. dbams
