tleduke
I have an AOQS Lenni that I've had for about 5 years. When I do a queen size quilt the backing is never even when I roll it completely onto the backing bar as I'm starting to load the quilt. I am getting ready to do a large quilt and have purchased a good quality flannel backing (preshrunk) and mounted it onto the backing bar with the selvedge running horizontally.. When I rolled it completely onto the backing bar, there is 5" extra on the left side of the bar compared to the right side of the bar. I have redone my leaders in case they were stretched but it didn't make any difference. I have measured the space between the take up bar and the backing bar, but there is no difference. I don't know what else to do. This has been a problem since I bought it but put it down to learning how to use my machine. I am more successful with smaller quilts as the difference from one side to the other isn't as noticeable but is still an issue.
Sue E.
Try rolling the backing material all the way onto the take up roller. Then unwind it onto the front bar and again roll it onto the take up roller. Do this several times, Usually this will help. Good luck!
