BlackPointQuilts
I'm stitching my 2nd quilt on my brand spanking new Millie 30, and loving it! However, while I was basting the bottom border I realized there is a light green stain on the solid white (of course!) border fabric. It looks, and smells (ick), like the grease used to pack the gears. But this machine is fresh from the factory, and I can't find a leak anywhere. I have 2 questions: (1.) Assuming this is packing grease, what's the best way to remove the stain? And (2.) Any thoughts where this came from? I've been changing bobbins of course but otherwise have only been working at the handles and changing thread. Thank you!
Gail O
Dawn dish detergent to remove the stain. No ideas about where the grease came from.
BlackPointQuilts
Thanks, I was able to get 90% of it out, it barely shows. I can't figure out where it came from either. I've looked at the undercarriage and bobbin area and don't see anything. dbams and Gail O
