alayne42
I could swear we have discussed this, but I can't find a thread. . . I am doing my first quilt using Minkee as backing. Any suggestions for keeping me out of trouble? Alayne
lizziesgirl
I didn't have a problem with it, it was like butter.
dixieqwv
If you do a SEARCH on Minkee you'll find a number of postings on it.
Melody
I did one with Minkee....I had nothing but trouble with it. It was with wool batting, I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I won't look forward to the next one!
CherylUribe
I've always had great results with Minkee. I use it often. It is helpful to have extra on all 4 sides because it does roll a little bit. Also, you don't HAVE to use batting.
ffq-lar
The two baby quilts for Jen and Jessica were backed with Minkee. It quilted beautifully. One way will stretch and the other will not-- so be sure to load the non-stretch from roller to roller. Both quilts were more heavily quilted than you usually would with Minkee but they did not mat and stayed soft all over. I love it!!
