CaliMom
I have taken my first few quilts for a fee recently and I am wondering what are some good basic pantos that are popular with customers. I want to buy some, but I am having trouble figuring out what most people like. Any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Gretchen
Heidi, Congratulations on your first customer quilts! I remember how nervous I was with my first few, heck I still get nervous:D So far my customers love Popcorn by Jodi Beemish (you can't go wrong with any of her pantos) and Double Plume by Keryn Emmersen. I have found if I make a few small quilts with different pantos on each it gives the customer a better idea of how they will look, rather than on paper or stitched on muslin. Hope this helps. LynnQuilts
I do not quilt for the general public, but I do quilt for a prolific friend, and her most favorite panto of all I own is Feathered Curls. It is not too dense, not too loose, doesn't take too long to do, and it is really a beautiful panto.
Guest Linda S
I agree about the Jodi Beamish pantos. Popcorn, Waterworld, and Wildflower are great. I also like the feathered curls -- I think you can get that at Jodi's site -- it's either by Lorien or Timeless Quilting Designs. Linda
Sams Mom
I too like the feathered curls and my new fun one is Simple Feather Meander by Linda Taylor. I have used both the 14 inch and 8.5 inch pattern. Hopefully, here is a view of my last completed quilt. Donna
