Joy
Hi I am hoping some one might be able to help me. Today I was using my 4 month old millenium and I have a loud vibration noise that seems to be coming from around the bobbin area somewhere. It does this with the bobbin in and out also I took the needle out and it still makes the loud vibration noise. The machine seems to be bouncing around a bit as well. I have read the manual but can't find anything about it. I did break my first needle the other day. Would that have done anything? Our Rep from Australia is on holidays Has anyone got any ideas we can check out please Thanks for anyones help Joy
Katydids
Joy, Is it a vibration noise or more of a "growling"? If everything is tight, oiled, bobbin out, and needle out, and it is still making the noise, it could be an air pocket in the grease for the gears (behind the bobbin case area). I had this happen too after only a few months of use, it is a pretty easy fix. The best thing to do, if you can, is call in to Service and have Amy listen to it. She'll be able to tell over the phone. Patty
Joy
Can anyone tell me what the grease is called to pack the gear box with also the name for the silicon used to seal it up again and where can you buy this from in australia Thanks Joy
Mary Beth
Joy, If you have not had an answer yet, you must be getting very frustrated. Do a search for grease and see what you come up with. I know that John Mitchell conversed with someone about this not long ago. Hope that helps some. Mary Beth

MarieBrewer
I had that problem and it was the black arm assembly that holds the bobbin in place. I had to slide it forward slightly and tighten it.
