patrollie Posted September 3, 2007 Report Share Posted September 3, 2007 When I turn the machine on there is a humming sound but the needle doesn't move. I can't find a thread jam. any suggestions? Has anyone had problems is the machine gets hot from a hot room? That's all I can think of. It was working fine this morning-then all of a sudden just wouldn't sew. patrollie Posted September 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 3, 2007 Problem solved, it was the heat. we're having a heat wave here in LA and the room the machine is in was really hot (I had ice on my neck) probably over 100 degrees and the machine just got to hot and the motor jammed.
