Another swirlz quilt

Recommended Posts

This quilt was made for my step-dad's church. It will either be raffled or silent-auctioned to raise money.

I posted earlier that they had sent me a 20 y-o-quilt top to finish, and it was an absolute disaster.

This is what I came up with. The pattern is a traditional "Buzz Saw", and in this setting is also known as "Tesselating Star". I absolutely loved the CircleLord "Swirls" template for this quilt.

I love your quilt and it shows how great the swirls works with traditional blocks. I love it on modern blocks like Carla Alexander's stack the deck quilts. I have one finished ready to quilt. the machine is being set up today and the CL is arriving today. I hope your dad's church makes great money on the quilt it's a keeper. Cheryll
