Hawaii
Gorgeous! Your quilting certainly brings out the best in that little fish! I will look for it at Innovations! Whoohooo, next week to travel from paradise to quilters' heaven - another long-arm show!!!! Are you a transplanted Hawaiian? That is our state fish! CucumberQuilting
Karen, You'll love how this looks up close. All the quilts in this display were quilted with the Hobbs new Tuscany SILK batting and it is so lovely for this type of work. It makes the border look like carved plaster. But, ahem, don't look too, too close if you know what I mean. About 6 to 8 feet, if you are someone who needs to wear reading glasses, is a good viewing distance. See you there. ~~ Eva
ffq-lar
Eva--wowser!!!! The center section says it's a red dirt item--was that a shirt? Beautiful quilting and I also want to see more of the borders. Love the fishy and can't wait to meet him (and hopefully you!!) next week.
quiltmonkey
Oh man! That is way way cool. I love how you took the border to make it look like coral or underwater plants (at least that is what it looks like to me...small photo). Way cool. Awesome! Quilting makes the quilt for sure, and you did it once again, woman!
