Bobette Miller
I have been searching for a pattern to make a breast cancer quilt with the ribbon in each block. I would like it with as few pieces as possible if there is one out there somewhere. Can anyone direct me to finding it. TY in advance Bobette Paradise, CA
bsktsn3cats
Bobette, I did one a few years ago for a friend of ours. You can see it at: http://family.webshots.com/album/560722096Zhdqaf?vhost=family If you would like the pattern, I can mail you a copy. I can't remember where I originally found it but I think it was on the internet.
aggiebabe
There's one that I liked in the latest issue of The Quilter magazine. You can see a picture of it here: http://www.thequiltermag.com/issues/current.shtml This book also has some good patterns: http://www.amazon.com/Pink-Ribbon-Quilts-Because-Breast/dp/1564772799 Here's a pink ribbon block: http://www.amazon.com/Pink-Ribbon-Quilts-Because-Breast/dp/1564772799 HTH, Chelley
MaHubs
I'm moving books today & found Pink Ribbon Quilts that has what you want on the cover. By Mimi Dietrich. This paper-pieced blocks alternate w/ a 9-patch. Another has an appliqued ribbon on it. Look up the book on-line and if you want it send me your address and its yours. janet

lyonden
My daughter is a teacher and one of her teacher friends has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment. The group of teachers at her school have gotten together to make her a lap quilt to cheer her up and let her know her friends are there for her. They of course asked me to quilt it for them. In looking for a good pattern I came across one they absolutely love and I just received it yesterday. The pattern is by Lisa Thiessen from Threadsongs and is called "Caring Hands". There are some cute flowers and hearts (leaves) also there is a hand with a heart in the palm. Love it, and so do they. Check it out. :)
