chrisw
My local quilt shop who has been a wonderful suport for my LA business has just become a distrib. of handiquilter! How can I continue to secure business from her shop now that she will be promoting this conflicting item?? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Guest Linda S
I wouldn't worry about this too much. Let her run her business and continue to run yours. On a couple of the lists to which I belong, they had lots of customers buying this small machines and then finding out it wasn't so easy to do and putting a large quilt on those small frames doesn't work out well. If some of your customers buy them, they will undoubtedly be back in short order. Linda
Beverly
Our quilt shop allows quilters to leave their business cards and I believe some samples. They do not, however recommend any one in particular. They do not want to be "responsible" if something goes wrong. If you have a customer base, you will be okay. Most of these ladies are loyal if you are doing a good job for them. I'm sure you are. Good luck.
Giftedhands
Not everyone will want to "do their own". I had one customer who did buy one, and ruined her quilt in seconds. She won't use it again, and hopes "I can find some other fool who wants to take this off my hands". Cynthia
