Susan,

I too have enjoyed Karen McTavish and Pam Clarke's dvd's. I think one of the most helpful that I have watched however, is Donita Reeve's "Tips & Techniques for Long Arm Machine Quilting" (www.LoveToQuilt.com). Valuable tips on loading and stabilizing the quilt to heep thins straight without "ruffling" the edged, tips with pantos (good), marking, rulers and templates. I got it in the video format, but I'm pretty sure it is also available in dvd.

good luck and happy stitching.

best,

georgia

p.s. I would be very interested in hearing anyone's input on Linda V. Taylor's dvds.

I have Karen McTavish's book with DVD (actually, I have all three of her books), Nichole Webb's two DVDs (excellent!), and the first season of Linda Taylor's Linda's Longarm Quilting. I love them all, but would have to say that I'd get Nichole's and Karen's before Linda's. That may just be personal preference.

Linda
