Hi ...all!

Thanks for your nice comments!

I used a Polyester thread from Aurifil (Italian),multicoloured for stitching.

And I found and bought:D a thread, seeming like wool with parts of metall and consisting of different coloured single threads . It was too thick to use it in the needle, so I laid it on the top and stitched with zigzag over it, following the outline!

You have to be careful with your fingers:cool: But it makes a lot of fun!

Sorry for my simple description - maybe I?ll take a picture while doing it to show you!

Have a nice day....

Hello Claudia!

Wholly smokes, that is some killer quilting!

Maybe we could all do a "thread challenge" to see what fun stuff we could come up with!?

I have my eye on some of the kids left over school supplies! LoL!

Missing you Miss Claudia!

Hugs to you~

Claudia,

That is gorgeous, to me there are not enough words to describe it.

You should enter something like that into some of these quilt shows.

BTW--how long have you been L/A quilting?

I applaud you for being so humble, you work is excellent and you should let your ego or rather estrogen be boosted some for that kind of work.

Blessings and hugs

I didn?t really expected soooo many compliments !!!!

Thanks a lot!:D

My Mille arrived in february, but I could start at least end of march 2005. But what should I tell you......probably you are feeling the same as me: crazy for longarm-quilting!

I?ve had the chance to look over the shoulders of famous Longarmers: Sue Patten, Myrna Ficken and Sherry Rogers!

I?ve stolen a lot with my eyes - sorry for that:cool: - and trying for myself!

I think it is the fun, the love and the ambition - then we are able to do things we never dreamt before!:)

Best wishes from over the ocean.....

Claudia

Claudia,

it took me off! It has an amazing 3D-look. I saw it already in your webshot album. And then I sat there for minutes to stare at it and tried to figure out WHAT I was looking at.

Are planning to work a whole quilt with this technique?

HMM, why have you to be so fare in the north from where I live?
