ffq-lar
I just purchased the Jan./Feb. issue of Fons and Porters magazine and there is a great article by "our" Dawn Cavanaugh. It has great information on how to camouflage piecing boo boos with your quilting. She also shares a very understandable sequence for continuous curve stitching. It is great to see her smiling face! BethDurand
I\'ve read the article, and it was great! She covered a lot of the info. in the article as well as a seminar I was fortunate enough to take at Innovations. Great to have a refresher, as well as a copy to hold in my hands. Well done Dawn! JenMcManus
I read Dawn\'s article, also. The diagrams were very helpful. I can\'t wait to take Dawn\'s classes at MQS! Jen
DawnCavanaugh
Jen, Looking forward to meeting you at MQS, too! I just spent the day trying to get my 2008 calendar up to date. After filling in all the "kid" obligations, MQS doesn\'t seem that far away. Glad you enjoyed the article. Look for even more long-arm related articles in Fons and Porter in the months ahead! ramona-quilter
It was a great article. I recognized some timeless tips from Dawn\'s This Quilt is Trouble at MQS. I am taking one class at Road to CA. It\'s a Dawn C feather class. However, I had signed up for the San Diego to Ontario bus-ride with one of the local guilds before deciding to take the class. Then I found out that the bus doesn\'t leave San Diego until 8:30 so I will be tiptoeing in the door about 2 hours late. I\'ll be quiet as a mouse, Dawn. Shhhhhh. chickenscratch
Wow, I guess we\'re behind the times down here. I bought Fons and Porters yesterday at Walmart, but it was the December issue. I\'ll have to look for that January one.

DawnCavanaugh
Dixie, Glad to help! Now if only we didn\'t need to learn how to "camouflage" the piecing mistakes, life would be good:)!
