Quilting Heidi
Marion, The #8 screw doesn't have anything to do with the beeping. It is used to speed up or slow down the single stitch. It is very easy to adjust. It depends what year machine you have as to where it is at. They changed the location when they upgraded the lights in 2008. If when you stop the machine stops stitching and doesn't take extra stitches then you don't need to touch the screw. Again give Amy a call and they will be able to help you with the beeping or the lack there of. Don't ever not contact APQS if you are having a problem. They are very willing to help you out.
