nannyt
I have a customer who wants to use Minkee fabric for the back of a quilt but has heard it's pretty creepy/crawley. She was kind enough to call first before using it to see if it would be too much of a pain. Has anyone used this and how did it work for you? Thanks in advance..... ncutt
I have used it with no problem. Just make sure not to stretch it, otherwise your quilt top will look puckered. It is best to pin it on the selvage side.
QuilterSue
I just returned from a visit to my LQS and they had a baby quilt there that they quilted with Minkee on the back. They said it is stretchy but if you are careful and baste/pin and don't stretch it too much there shouldn't be a problem. The quilt they had was adorable and the Minkee is sooooo soft! Good luck.
AnuGram
I have used it as backing for lots of baby quilts and it quilts beautifully. I also use it to bind the quilts -- it is SOOOO soft. I didn't have too much of a problem with the stretch. I had the selvages on the sides so that is what I clamped to. Sara
