barlowmic Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 APQS Millennium Every time I press in the control button on the left hand control front handle the channel lock engages. What's this about? Can press again to disengage. Controls seem to be acting a bit funny on the front handles also such as having to press functions more than once to get them to engage. Any help or direction for help would be appreciated. Thanks.
thequiltqueen Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 I had a problem with the channel lock coming on every time I turned on my machine. Had to replace the circuit boards to fix it, but now it is perfect! You should probably call Connie at APQS.
barlowmic Posted July 28, 2005 Author Report Posted July 28, 2005 Thanks Deanna. Got to Connie voice mail today just after knock off time so I've left a message and really appreciate your reply on possible fix.
connie hurst Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 Hi, You may just have a bad switch (mushroom head) Is this a new machine, or did this just start? You can take the one off the back handle, (just pull it up and then unplug it) take it to the front and do the same thing! If that one works on the front, all we need to do is get you a new mushroom head! Remember to only use left on left and right on right! Good Luck, let me know
quiltrn Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Hi, I had previously posted on a different forum on this and then found this one. This problem just started today where the left control button engages the horizontal channel lock. This occurs from the front and from the rear of the machine so it does not appear that exchanging the mushroom heads would be of any benefit. I also did run the wires, as was suggested on the previous post, and all seems in order there. Thank you in advance for any help that you may give. Alyn Millie Rapid City, SD ameyer@q.net
