Ultimate 1 book

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know of a source to purchase an Ultimate 1 users guide. I just my machine used.

I need something that shows a photo of the machine to verify I put it together correctly.

A picture or diagram of the correct thread path would be great too. I guessed at threading it but the bottom of my practice piece is a birds nest. I finally managed to control it so the machine just takes one stitch so I can pull up the fresh (and freshly oiled) bobbin thread. I try taking a couple of stitches and then take off. but I get a nest everytime. I don't know what the tension is supposed to be; not that I could set it, I see no numbers. No clue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have one--including photos for a circa 1996 machine, which I may add, is quite a workhorse.

If you'd like me to copy it I will need to take it to a copy shop and run it through the commercial machines. Its probably around 100+ pages.

EMail me and we'll exchange info.

Happy to hear you found your owner's manual.

I have an Ultimate I and had problems with tension until I bought the Towa Tension Gauge.

It cost around $75 but is worth its weight in gold.

Simple to use, I now test every new bobbin.

I bought mine from Columbia River Quilting.

Good luck and enjoy your machine.
