Combien de temps vais-je mettre pour bien maitriser.... mystère et boule de gumme. Le plus dur est de trouver un tissu pas trop chère pour s\'exercer, merci IKEA. Pour la ouate encore plus dure. Premièrment, bienvenu a ce forum et beaucoup des félicitacions pour tu machine APQS. Depuis 2005, j\'ai une Millenium et je l\'aime beaucoup. Comme réponse a tu question concernant la ouatte, je peux dire que mes clientes de Luxembourg ou de la Belgique m\'apportent la ouatte du manufacteur Mouleton avec ses projets. C\'est un procuit de la France. Ou est-ce que tu habite en France? J\'ai prêt de la frontier France-Allemand en Sarrebruck. Le tissus noir est tres bien avec les couleurs de Superior thread qui sont variegated. Pour la ouatte vous pouvez acheter direct de l\'USA - le Dream batting. Ils ont le polyester et le coton. Si non, vous pouvez peut- etre parlez avec le quilt magasin le plus proche et peut etre ils vous donne un rabais si vous acheter un roleau entier. Pour moi c\'est simple car j\'ai un magasin mais je ne connais pas les personnes qui vente en gros en france, seulement en angleterre. Separate question. barbm Posted April 21, 2008 Report Share Posted April 21, 2008 Yvette, You have to use the Alt key on your keyboard. You hold it down and then press a number combination to get different characters. For example, if you press Alt, then type in 0231 on the number pad, you get ç. I have printed this off, I had a list from years ago of things like "quarter" which changed when I changed computer and never thought to look for accents. My mother is french (english father)so I learned as a child but always spoke english at home. My spelling was learned at senior school and I\'ve forgotten most of the rules and haven\'t yet really learned the vocabulary of quilting, I\'m OK at the level of a 6 year old discussing toys, candy, food etc. I was named Yvette because that was the first letter of the alphabet on which my parents could agree a name! Yes , they divorced many years later because they were not compatible. LOL! As I understand it there are very few longarmers in france, certainly fewer than the UK, so NATHALIE, do you understand english? It will be easier to get help from here if you do. I can scan the whole page for you if you\'d like, or you can tell me which characters you want shortcuts for and I\'ll shoot you the shortcuts. veg-girl Posted April 22, 2008 Report Share Posted April 22, 2008 Thanks, with you help to get me started I managed to find¼,½,¾ I could do degrees but every time I put in a 7(pressing the alt key) it takes me out of the internet! As I have a laptop I can\'t use the regular number keys I have to press a blue fn key and use the blue numbers which are on the keyboard which I had never really noticed before. Quand on dit "mystère et boule de gumme", c\'est une expression pour dire que il y a là une énigme. La traduction de boule gumme est chewing-gum. Il s\'agit de PSR quilt, et tu devrais trouver leurs coordonnées sur internet ou dans un magazine Quiltmania, où ils passnet régulièrement des annonces. La qualité la plus économique est le molleton "standard", ma qualité préférée est le polyester "Super". Bonne chance avec ta nouvelle Millenium! I had deux annee en Francais en college, mais ne pas used it so have forgotten most of what I ever knew. I thought I'd take a quick look at this forum. Assuming you are using MS Word, go to your top menu and click on Insert and then Symbol. You will get a box with many variables.
