smd719
Hi! I have a seam running down the back; currently horizontal on the machine. When I turn it clockwise, do I center the quilt back on the machine using the backing seam or the center of the quilt top or doesn\'t it matter? Thanks in advance. Quilting Heidi
Stephanie, The quilt sandwich will be held together with your stitching and it won\'t technically matter if your quilt is centered but I would want the quilt to be loaded using the center because I wouldn\'t want to get any twists into the borders. If you don\'t start by lining up the center then will run the risk of getting it to load a little crooked. I hope that makes sense.
