LadyLake
Hi, I have a millennium (2003) and recently did a 'soft mount upgrade.' I've been told that I will need to move my front wheels on the carriage forward, in order for the Hartley Fence to work now. Does anyone know at what location they should be moved to? Thanks for your help! Joan
John Mitchell
When the axle is moved forward there is a bar that goes in the holes left behind from the old axle location. The HF hooks to this bar. John
LadyLake
Thank you for the information, John. Can you tell me where I would acquire the bar that is needed? Thanks for your help! Joan
John Mitchell
Call Linda at APQS, 800-426-7233 and she can send you one. To install, if your machine is on the table remove one of the pieces of Lexan and put the screws in from the bottom. The screws are captive in the bar. kathy1
I just bought a Hartley Fence that has never been used but was purchased for a 2005 Milli with CompuQuilter. My Milli is a 2006 that is front mounted. My HF book from Myrna says that I need an adapter to install since I have a front mounted machine. What adapter? I would like to use the HF ASAP but can't quite figure out how to install. Are there any installation directions online somewhere? Thank you.
