SuzieQ
I was in the middle of quilting and all of a sudden my Freedom just stopped. The lights above my machine stayed on so the power is not an issue. This has never happened before. Any ideas what may be the problem?? I've unplugged the machine and plugged it back in. Nothing I'm at a loss
pigletaz
Some veteran jump in here please - the only thing I can think of is a fuse. This might explain why the lights are still on but it's not running? Note which lights are on - APQS can tell you what that combination of lights means. SuzieQ
OK! I'm a newbie! THANKS... It was the fuse. Gosh that was scary. Does that happen very often? Renee I love the name... Covered Wagon Quilts!! Thanks again;)
RitaR
Just guessing but I'd think a fuse too. Especially if the whole machine, including lights are out.. RitaR
RunningThreads
Check the fuse in the little drawer above the on/off switch. I suspect the overhead lights are fused elsewhere. Nigel

RitaR
So GLad it was so easily solved. As for how often it happens, I really haven't any idea. RitaR
JoAnnHoffman
Do use a battery back-up APC surge protector? If you don't have one I would run out and get one.
