rrteach
I got my new Millie set up in a few hours. I have to admit that it was easier to set up than my old New Joy Machine and the directions were very well written. I have a question about leveling the table. Both halves of the table are level, but in the center, where the bolts were raised on the trusses so that they extended only 1/2", the table is uneven. Is this supposed to be, or should I adjust those bolts so that there isn't a hump in the middle? Linda
RitaR
I have a Lenni, but reading chat from millie owners.. the table should be as flat as possible and be level, also. Others will chime in, tis supper time, I'm thinking. RitaR
smorris
Linda, Just adjust them so they read level on the spirit level, then do a check along the length of the table. Sue
rrteach
What is a spirit level? Is that the center part?
ffq-lar
It is a "bubble" level where the bubble centers in the tube between the lines. Check for level down both rails and also from front to back. If it is so obviously has a hump in the middle, that's the place to check. How exciting for you to start out! We were all there once and love to help. Give a holler when you need to! (another) Linda
rrteach
Thanks - I got it level, I think. On the table itself there is still a hump, but the rails are exactly level. This weekend I actually get to play. Linda
JoleneK
Not sure if I understand Linda Rech's answer - I am hoping someone can clarify. I've always had this middle hump and it wasn't really a problem (rails are level) until I got the Circle Lord. The CL templates are wobbly where the hump is and makes it difficult to quilt. Linda R. - I got my Topper today!!!! Thank you, I'll be trying it out tomorrow.
