Guest Linda S
I love my Bernina 153QE, but the others are right, you are buying a dealer. If your dealer and repair person is not good, the machine is worthless. Find the best dealer in your area and buy what they service. You'll be happier that way. quiltedsunflower
I have Bernina 440QE. Purchased mine at the same time as my sister so we could share the embroidery unit about 5 yrs ago. Hers worked like a dream and mine would take a spell to not cooperate at all! Sometimes the foot pedal worked, sometimes it didn't. Same way with needle up/down, stitch regulator, etc. After 3 trips to the shop I told them fix it or keep it. I had it!. Turns out the circuit board was bad. AFter a lengthly discussion with the tech we figured it out - together! He said he had seen it before. Might check with your tech to see if they have checked the boards. Now it works great - no complaints at all. Good luck with getting to the root of your problem.
