I have a 10 ft. frame and new Quilt Path.  Can someone tell me the largest size quilt (width) I can use on my frame?
    Thanks,

I often wondered about them, but the cost makes me think twice.  I can understand being sure about the purchase.  It seems to me a micro handle rental service might be the ticket.

APQS is the best!  You have wonderful products, support, staff, help, training videos, and, and, and, and, and!   I learn so much by reading the forum, the blogs, etc.  Best of all I love the Christian values and Christ based business.

Yikes! Maybe the comma or decimals are in the wrong place. I wonder if she'll get her price........

Have friend who has binding machine (which is rather old).  Will see her in a week or two and will try to get info for you.  She inherited it from her Mother.  Think it takes 2" strips - but I could be mistaken.

b.glass reacted to SewCuteQuilting in Frixion pens
I have had a lady bring back 2 different pens that just 'stopped working'…it turns out she was carrying them around in her travel container (she hand pieces) and we did figure out that the pens could not be stored in a hot car, as they are heat sensitive, disappearing ink pens. I have not heard of a problem with the ink reappearing in cold weather, I would cautiously assume that chilling the pen itself would restore the ink reservoir in a situation like mentioned but once the ink is pressed off with an iron I would again, cautiously assume that it has lost it's 'magic'. Has anyone tried marking, erasing and putting a test piece in the freezer? I will try it tonight!
And I have also experienced the white line on darker fabrics and I just use a dab of water to take it off, it is like a chalk texture, I'm guessing it's a bonder in the ink?

Peggy, I got a Posture Pleasure from a LQS where the owner swears by them, and wears one every day at work.  She says after she started using it, all her staff got them, too, and they are all believers.

My mother had terrible osteoporosis, and that's one of the reasons I got it.  I do think it improves my posture, and helps me to breathe better, too, since I'm not so hunched over.  I know I feel better when my posture is better, and this helps me achieve that.  Now, the big trick is remembering to wear it!

I have one I made-actually took ones and copied some and edited etc.  Send me your email and I'd be glad to send it to you.  I agree, often they don't read it but I always refer them to it if needed.  Charity quilts I usually don't mind doing, however, I do charge for customer quilts if I have to repair or do more than a few minutes of work.  I always call and let them know ahead of time to give them the option.  Sometimes you actually lose time and money on some.  I think it goes with the territory.

This is an FYI if anyone runs into this issue.

I just took in a customer quilt that was pre-pinned with about 500 safety pins.  She'd already started stitching in the ditch around the shirts.  I wasn't sure if I could do this or how it would turn out but gave it a whirl.  I though about ripping out what she'd already done but decided there was too much.  I loaded it and thankfully she had left plenty of room top, bottom, and sides so it gave me some extra to work with.  I left all the pins in and removed them as I quilted and forwarded the quilt.  Anyway, it came out great without any puckers or issues.  She was very please with it too.

b.glass got a reaction from Marion S in Bottom thread breaking
As I mentioned in an earlier post, a new bobbin case made a huge difference with all issues!!!  I can use most any thread now and seldom have to adjust my top or bottom tensions.  This has been a big issue and most frustrating in the past.  What have you got to lose?  At least you'll have another bobbin case to use.

I have been fighting with the tension on my Millieforever, or so it seems.  I've tried various threads, made a chart as to the threads and the tension, etc, etc, etc.  I changed needles and so on.  I ordered 3 new bobbin cases from APQS and low and behold that was my problem!  I just finished quilting 2 balloon fiesta wallhangings  for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta for NMQA and I had no problems with the tension.  I used Superior Magnifico in the top and a variegated Star cotton in the bobbin.  I could NEVER have done that before.  So, I really hope this tip helps anyone having tension issues.
