  1. I am doing a custom quilt and have downloaded a couple of designs that would be perfect for the quilt. My problem is I cannot figure out how to rotate the designs. Specifically, I need to quilt a directional design in the setting triangles. The design as downloaded, is in the correct orientation to quilt the setting triangles along the bottom of the quilt. I need to rotate the pattern when I want to do the sides and the top. Taking the quilt off and rotating the quilt IS NOT an option. I always stitch out the individual blocks using the Select and Sew - Patterns. Any suggestions
  2. It depends on how technical you are. My hubby and I are both very technical, but he is also a perfectionist - so I think it took us a little longer than others - about 4 hours.
  3. I have also had problems with QP since the day I received it in April. I have been working with Dawn at APQS and Grace Co. to get the issues taken care of. At this moment in time, my system appears to be working OK. I say this with hesitance because each time I think we are all set, the same problems pop up again. My issues have been the following: studdering stiches, needle stopping in the down position and the carriage continuing to move (I have put several holes in quilts because of this), try to repair a pattern and the carriage will move to the end of the table and continue to try
  4. So I e-mailed the Grace Company 3 days ago regarding the problems I have been having, and hoping to get the most recent version of the software. No one has contacted me yet. How long did it take before you heard from them?
  5. When downloading digital files, what file types will work with quilt path.
  6. Well this weekend I was quilting a customers quilt when I ran out of bobbin. I stopped QP tied off and buried the threads. I then told QP to repair pattern and trace back. The carriage then proceeded to move all the way to the right and then tried to keep going even though it reached the end of the table. I had to run around the table and turn off the power button to the carriage. When I restarted it, there was no way for me to finished quilting from where it left off. I have told QP to stop before, and it wouldnt. The carriage has randomly decided to move to the right when the needl
  7. The reason why I ask, is because I have had Quilt Path for about 2 weeks now. I have printed out my help file/manual and watched all videos that are currently available and I still have questions. If there was one place for for people to ask questions about Quilt Path it would be easier than searching the forum. I have been having problems with my system "freaking out" on me on occasion and would like to know where I can go to get help. Thanks, Ronnie
  8. Is there anyone who is familiar with both Quilt Path and IntelliQuilter? If you were going to purchase one over the other, which one would you choose and why? Unfortunately, the information I have been able to find out about Quilt Path isn't very detailed. I sure hope more information is forthcoming.
  9. Thanks for the warm welcome! Meg - I would love to be apart of a LA group. I actually live in Stanley, which is between Geneva & Canandaigua. I am willing to travel just about any where. Karen - I make frequent trips to Watkins Glen. Did you happen to visit O'Susannah's while you were there? I stay at the Upstairs Inn a couple of times a year with my quilting buddies. It is always a great time!
