chickenscratch
Hi All, I have decided to do a wholecloth to show off thread colors, patterns, etc. The question I have is this: Should I start in the center with the feathered wreath, or should I just start at one end, like a regular quilt, and work my way down. I am using off white fabric and variegated thread. Thanks, Teresa www.chickenscratchquilting.com
Guest LA
Hi Teresa! I work my way through the progression of the whole cloth in the same manner. You want to make sure you start with the top border, the body of the quilt, then the bottom border, pinning sides if you need to turn the quilt for the other two borders. Be sure to post pictures, whole cloths are so very special, be sure to enter your quilt in Karen?s special exhibit! http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=1530#pid10328 Let me know if you have questions!
