Lukemick2
For some reason on my Millennium, my thread cutter is not working at all. I was working on a quilt, I raised my needle to the up position, and the cutting blade just stopped working. There is no electrical charge happening to operate the blade. The lights on the "Banks" come on, which indicates the button at the handle is working. What do I need to do?
John Mitchell
Look at the lights on the left bank of lights and tell me if the 3rd and the 5th are on. The needle has to be in the up position and locked for the thread cutter to work. John
Lukemick2
Yes, looking at the left bank, the 3rd and 5th light is on.
John Mitchell
I would suggest you call Mark tomorrow. There is a switch in the TC housing that could be causing your issue or a relay in the back under the rear cover might be defective. The lights on mean that it should work. I assume that you have tried the button on the back handle. Let us know what you find. John
Lukemick2
I tried the button on the back handle, the cutter did not work. I will call Mark tomorrow. I just received this machine in March, so I hope the part is not defective. Thank you for your time and advice John. Leslie
