belquilt Posted October 10, 2006 Report Share Posted October 10, 2006 Hi, I love my new Liberty, set it up myself because I couldn't wait a week until my APQS rep comes to my house (this sunday). Everything arrived in one piece with the exception of the light blub broken into hundreds of pieces from the front hand controls. And now the only problem I have is that the needle up/down will not work, from the front hand control and the back hand control. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!!! mark Posted October 13, 2006 Report Share Posted October 13, 2006 Hi belquilt, Try unthreading your machine and then running it in manual mode for about 5 min. to let it warm up. Then try your needle up/down and see if it works. It just might be slow and stiff as it is a new machine.
