Farmland Quilter Posted August 27, 2011 Report Share Posted August 27, 2011 I'm quilting my 1st quilt with motifs. It's 7.5" squares (6 blocks x 6 blocks). Half square blocks in pinwheel pattern. From digitechpatterns.com I want to use the Stars Triangle 1 by Donna Klienke DK2997 going in one direction in 1 fabric. Then the Arced Triangle by Judy Allen in the second fabric with triangles going the other direction. I have 2 questions. Judy Allen's pattern comes as a P2P pattern or as a motif. Can I use the P2P with just one repetition or would it be better to purchase the motif? The other question is should I SID around the triangles before I do the triangle patterns?
