Fuse type for Liberty?

Recommended Posts

I was quilting a flannel quilt yesterday morning and poof! Blew the fuse in my machine! Only had it two months... Anyway, I knew that there was a spare, took out blown fuse put new one in and I was on my way.

Now, what type of fuse do I get to replace it (i.e. get another spare)? I can't read what is on the fuse (even with my reading glasses). Got out Supply Catalog and for a Liberty it has the following number - 2317- 01 3.15 Amp.

Went to local hardware store and asked for a 3.15 Amp fuse and they said there was no such thing - so I got a small bag of 3.0 Amp fuses.

Is this ok? Or do I need to call in and get some from APQS?

Hi Beth,

The 3.0 amp fuses will work, but yes there is such a thing as 3.15. :)

Radio Shack usually carries those fuses, if you don't have one or can't fine the correct fuses, call us at APQS and we can send you some.

Take care,
