belquilt
I was quilting a flannel quilt yesterday morning and poof! Blew the fuse in my machine! Only had it two months... Anyway, I knew that there was a spare, took out blown fuse put new one in and I was on my way. Now, what type of fuse do I get to replace it (i.e. get another spare)? I can't read what is on the fuse (even with my reading glasses). Got out Supply Catalog and for a Liberty it has the following number - 2317- 01 3.15 Amp. Went to local hardware store and asked for a 3.15 Amp fuse and they said there was no such thing - so I got a small bag of 3.0 Amp fuses. Is this ok? Or do I need to call in and get some from APQS? mark
Hi Beth, The 3.0 amp fuses will work, but yes there is such a thing as 3.15. Radio Shack usually carries those fuses, if you don't have one or can't fine the correct fuses, call us at APQS and we can send you some. Take care,
belquilt
Hi Mark, Thanks for the quick reply. I knew that guy was wrong!!! I will keep the 3.0 amp fuses as backup and look for the 3.15 amp. Sounds like a call to APQS. Have a great holiday!!!
